Great traps. I'm up to 22 pocket gophers over the last 2 years using 2 traps on my 7 acres. Use the medium mole traps for pocket gophers. A critter dragged away one of my traps and the spring broke on the other so I'm buying 2 new ones for a Christmas present to myself. Keep the trigger bar cleaned and sliding easy for maximum effectiveness. A lot of times the gopher will pile dirt on the trap without it tripping if the trigger bar isn't clean.
